Once upon a time painting came to me like a long awaited revelation. All words became silent. I fell in love with colors and rhythm. They played their games with me, and I sank into both — delighted by this newly discovered way of seeing and expression. Rules and prescriptions were foreign to me. It was as if my paintings only needed to be retrieved from a distant East and brought into the world. I have nothing more to say about my artwork.
